Are there any suggestions for how I might help them learn about multiple regressions using Office for the Mac, without their having to download any third party software?
For a simple regression, they can use the spreadsheet functions, slope and intercept, or the graphical trendline option, but are out uinable to do a multiple regression as far as I know.
So they cannot have the same experience that the Windows users have. When I want to explain multiple regression concepts, the Mac users don't have the data analysis toolkit, I am teaching a class where about 30% of the sutdents have Macs, and I require them to have Office for the Mac installed.
